Zoran Magdelinić, Deputy Director of the Administration for Inspection Affairs- Department of Legal Affairs in the Field of Inspectorial Supervision, Planning, Human Resources and Information Technologies


Zoran Magdelinić is a graduated jurist. He was born on 28 December 1978 in Rožaje and he is Montenegrin. 

From 2003 to 2006 he underwent a traineeship and was a co-worker in High Court in Podgorica. From 2006 to 2008 he was an Advisor of the Secretary General in the Parliament of Montenegro and then became the Chief of the Cabinet of the Secretary General. He was Deputy Director in the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions from 2009 to October 4, 2010, when he was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Administration for Inspection Affairs for the Department of Legal Affairs in the Field of Inspectorial Supervision, Planning, Human Resources and Information Technologies. 

He also held some important job positions which should be mentioned: from 2007 to 2010 he performed tasks of the Secretary of the Parliamentary Commission on Allocation of Funds to NGOs; from 2007 to 2009 he was a member of the Steering Committee for the project of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe; from 2008 to 2009 he was the Secretary of the Council for Civilian Control of Police Operations in Montenegro and from 2010 to 2011 he was a member of the Central Commission for the reception of the first generation of cadets at Police Academy in Danilovgrad, for the educational programme „prison officer“.

He participated in many professional trainings in various fields of law in home county and abroad and also in a number of study visits in the field of parlamentary law and democracy through the following international organisations and associations: National Democratic Institute (NDI) from Washington, European Movement in Montenegro, Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Parlamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Centre for Democratic Transition (CDT), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the German Organisation for Technical Cooperation (GTZ). He was a first-generation student at the college for European integration Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (2004). In addition, he was awarded the certificate on “How to be a better policy advisor“, The Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe- Regional School of Public Administration (NISPAcee-ReSPA) (Sarajevo, 2007).

He speaks English.
